Vaughan's home for authentic Nigerian food.
Founded in Vaughan, Ontario by Lanre Folarin — a fully LLBO-licensed lounge serving the smoky jollof, slow-marinated suya, and fire-roasted asun the diaspora has been waiting for.
Why I started Flo's.
I grew tired of Nigerian food in Toronto that tasted watered down. The jollof without the smoke. The suya without the bite. The egusi without the soul. We started Flo's Grill to put it right — to cook the way auntie cooks at home in Lagos, and to give the Nigerian community in the GTA a room that feels like one.
Every grilled turkey marinates a full 24 hours. The pepper base is hand-pounded. The asun comes off open flame. We don't water down the spice — and we never will.

They wrote about us.
“The smell of asun hits the moment you enter… peppery grilled meats and jollof rice anchor their menu, the jollof's grains stained orange-red from simmering in tomato and spice, and deeply smoky where they caramelized at the bottom of the pot.” — Chi Nguyễn

Three rules in the kitchen.
Made fresh, daily.
Nothing pre-cooked overnight, nothing reheated from yesterday. The grill is on, the pots are running, every service.
Spice is not a suggestion.
We season properly. The pepper is real. If you grew up on this food you'll recognise it — and if you didn't, you're about to.
Hospitality first.
You walk in a guest, you leave family. Fully LLBO-licensed lounge — palm wine, a chilled drink, a room that feels like home.
Come eat with us.
